The Manitoba Environmental Industries Association

The Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA) serves as an information and opportunity hub, equipping members with the information they need to stay current on governmental policy and legislation, increase their knowledge of environmental practices, and gain business development knowledge. Through learning sessions, training programs, conferences, special events, e-news, and project partnerships, members can find the solutions they need to very real environmental challenges.

MEIA is a Resource for Companies

  • MEIA provides human resource services; including professional development training, recruitment and employment preparation, specifically allowing university students the opportunity to explore their potential within the environmental industry
  • A place to network and share information on regulation, application of regulations, and the technologies involved in fulfilling such mandates

  • MEIA’s municipal subsection is a cost-effective source of knowledge on environmental issues, and allows municipalities to tap the expertise of members providing services in these areas
  • MEIA works directly with all levels of government on issues such as water, waste water, land drainage issues, contaminated sites, weed control
