In support of industry during a difficult year, MEIA is pleased to be able to offer this course at a reduced rate to help everyone get back into a safe work environment.
The 4-day HAZWOPER course focuses on what Hazardous Materials are, how they are classified, what we need to think about in order to approach them, and how to evaluate and simply understand their toxicological effects.
Delivered by Bart Taylor, a senior HazMat Specialist, this HAZWOPER training covers the clearly defined methods and protocols used by HazMat Specialists internationally to ensure that personnel operate in the safest possible manner.
*Please note: The classroom is configured for physical distancing. We require that all class participants respect a 6ft distancing between participants and the instructor at all times. If any participants are feeling ill or experiencing signs and/or symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, they will be asked to leave the training area. The Canad Inns has implemented mandatory mask/face covering in “public” areas of the facility (lobby, bathrooms), but can be removed once seated in classroom.
