ISO 14001:2026 – What’s Changed and What It Means for Your Organization
ISO 14001 has been updated for 2026. This practical half-day course provides an accessible overview of the revised Environmental Management System (EMS) standard, highlighting what has changed, what organizations need to know, and how the new requirements can be applied in practice.
Participants will explore the key changes in ISO 14001:2026, including increased attention to environmental conditions, climate change and biodiversity, leadership and governance, risks and opportunities, value-chain considerations, and measurable environmental performance. The course will also provide practical guidance for organizations transitioning from ISO 14001:2015 or considering implementation of an EMS for the first time.

Trainer Bio
Dr. Yogendra (Yogi) Chaudhry, Ph.D., MBA, EP, CRSP is Vice President, Professional Services & ESG at ECO Canada and an experienced environmental management systems practitioner, auditor, and trainer. He has extensive experience with ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and ISO 45001, having conducted more than 1,000 audit person-days and delivered numerous lead auditor and internal auditor training courses.
Dr. Chaudhry brings more than two decades of experience in environmental management, sustainability, ESG, accreditation, and professional development. His training approach combines the requirements of international standards with practical insights on how organizations can apply them to improve environmental performance, manage risk, and strengthen business resilience.
