In response to the need for a common place (online) to get information on certification and training for Water and Wastewater Facility operators, MEIA partnered with the Manitoba Water Wastewater Association (MWWA) to develop the Manitoba Water and Wastewater Facility Owner and Operator Online Toolkit. The Toolkit provides information required to support water and wastewater facility operators, facility owners, and administrators by focusing on three main areas: Awareness, Basic Operator Knowledge, and Communication.

The Toolkit has been live on the Manitoba Water & Wastewater Association website since the beginning of March, and the input from water and wastewater operators is essential in shaping the content and functionality of the toolkit to ensure it meets the needs of operators across the province.
