Operating Heavy Equipment in Waste Management Facilities Webinar: Hazard Awareness & Best Practices

Operating heavy equipment in landfills and waste facilities requires special attention to certain workplace hazards and operating procedures.

This special training is NEW, and it has been developed by a qualified HEO industry trainer here in Manitoba to provide essential and practical information to ensure Heavy Equipment Operators and their supervisors are aware of the unique hazards HEO operators face in working at waste disposal grounds, waste transfer stations as well as Eco-Centers and Recycling Depots.

Public works staff that supervise waste management workers will also benefit from this training and are encouraged to attend as well.

‍ ‍*Note that this webinar is NOT intended to replace or be equal to other Heavy Equipment Operator training. It has been developed by a qualified HEO trainer to augment basic training and assist operators to understand and prepare for the unique working environment and conditions that exist in waste management sites and facilities.
