Potable Water and Groundwater Sampling

MEIA and the University of Manitoba offer a one-day water sampling workshop with hands-on training in water sampling and well development. The course covers groundwater sampling programs, regulatory guidelines, sampling methods, well installation, purging, and related calculations. Participants will sample an on-site groundwater well and collect potable water samples.

Students taking this course for credit hours must also register through the University of Manitoba under the coordination of Mark Hanson, Dept of Environment and Geography. Regular tuition and fees will apply in addition to the MEIA fees. Students registering in ENVR 2010 must take both SOIL SAMPLING and POTABLE WATER AND GROUNDWATER SAMPLING courses for 1.5 credit hours.

MEIA Member: $150 (+$7.50 GST) = $157.50

Non-Member: $250 (+$12.50 GST) = $262.50

MEIA Student Chapter Member: $80 (=$4.00 GST) = $84.00

Student Non-Member: $160 (+$8.00 GST) = $168.00
